We first met Gary Woodward of StagePro
when he was called in as a consultant by our then Realtor.
We were selling a home in an older area of Jackson, TN
and needed some expert advice on what to do to make the
home more marketable. Gary prepared a proposal for a list
of things that needed upgrading. We met with him and went
over all of his suggestions. After this meeting we decided
to undertake the upgrade. Since we lived in Memphis, Gary
took charge of the entire project, i.e., getting estimates,
interviewing workers, shopping for accessories, being on
hand for any problems and keeping us updated on a daily
basis. Gary's upgraded proposal completely changed the
property. From painting to carpentry to landscaping - the
house was completely transformed.
After our original Realtor took a leave of absence, we signed Gary on as our
new Realtor. He immediately became very active in showing and advertising the
property. Since the home was older, Gary suggested that we might want to consider "Staging" it
in order to show off its charm as a home. We agreed that this sounded like
a good idea. Within the next two weeks, Gary's company had brought in an entire
house full of furniture and accessories including art work, books, draperies,
rugs and all the things that make a place tasteful and smart. Next, he held
open houses and luncheons for Realtors to show it off and get their opinions.
Needless to say, there were raves. In addition, he advertised in the paper
showing pictures of the house. After this, interest in the house escalated
100%. It was shown more in the two months during the staging than in the eight
months prior. I am happy to say that within the next six weeks, we received
and accepted a contract.
During the entire time we worked with Gary, he was organized and focused in
his professional dealings with us. He was very attentive to details and extremely
imaginative. I truly think his creativity and enthusiasm enabled us to sell
a house that would have languished without his help. Gary did not realize a
large commission from the sale, however he treated it and us as if it were
a million dollar transaction.

Gary was one of my first clients when I began working in radio two years ago.

I have always believed in staging homes to sell but when
you hit the scene on one of our latest listings, WOW AND
